Pengalaman Siswa Yang Mengalami Bullying Pada Siswa dan Siswi Kelas 10 dan 11 SMK Yatek Kota Bogor Tahun 2019: Studi Kasus

Abstract

Bullying is an act of intimidation by a stronger party against a weaker party, the rampant bullying that occurs among teenagers is an important spotlight to be studied. Where at the time of the preliminary study it was found that 78% had been involved in a physical fight, 89% often ridiculed others, and 67% were often asked for money by other people. This study aims to determine the phenomenon of the level of adolescent behavior towards bullying in 10th and 11th grade students of SMK Yatek Bogor City. This type of research uses descriptive qualitative methods with a case study approach. The results of the study based on interviews with 10 participants showed that the phenomenon of the occurrence of bullying behavior was at a moderate level. In addition, based on questionnaire data on bullying behavior in school-age children, the majority were in the medium bullying category as many as 69 students, 43 students (62.31%) of whom the bullying behavior was carried out by male students. The medium category of verbal bullying was mostly found in 43 male students (42.16%). The low category physical bullying was mostly done by 40 male students (39.22%). The medium category of relational bullying was mostly done by 49 male students (48.04%). Lack of empathy for bullying perpetrators and the prevention measures implemented by schools causes bullying to occur in schools.

Abstrak

Bullying merupakan tindakan intimidasi yang dilakukan pihak yang lebih kuat terhadap pihak yang lebih lemah, maraknya perilaku bullying yang terjadi dikalangan remaja menjadi sorotan penting untuk dikaji. Dimana pada saat studi pendahuluan didapatkan 78% pernah terlibat perkelahian fisik, 89% sering mencemooh orang lain, dan 67% sering dimintai uang secara paksa oleh orang lain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui fenomena tingkat perilaku remaja terhadap bullying pada siswa dan siswi kelas 10 dan 11 SMK Yatek Kota Bogor. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Hasil penelitian berdasarkan wawancara pada 10 partisipan menunjukan bahwa fenomena tingkat terjadinya perilaku bullying pada tingkat sedang. Selain itu berdasarkan data kuesioner perilaku bullying pada anak usia sekolah mayoritas berada dalam kategori bullying sedang sebanyak 69 siswa, 43 siswa (62,31%) diantaranya perilaku bullying dilakuakan oleh siswa laki-laki. Jenis bullying verbal kategori sedang paling banyak ditemukan pada siswa 43 siswa laki-laki (42,16%). Bullying fisik kategori rendah banyak dilakukan oleh 40 siswa laki-laki (39,22%). Bullying relasional kategori sedang terbanyak dilakukan oleh 49 siswa laki-laki (48,04%). Kurangnya empati pelaku bullying dan pencegahan yang dilakukan sekolah menyebabkan bullying terjadi disekolah.
